What started as a hobby on our kitchen table has now become an award-winning micro-business with its own designated production kitchen but still based on the same ingredients and methods but continually being tweaked to keep up with changing trends. For example more fruit and less sugar, more concentrated flavours and a wider choice – we’re now up to 15! And that’s not counting our increasing range of fruity vinegar “shrubs” based on local cider vinegar.
From our first Taste of the West award in 2013 we have gone on to win many more. We were delighted to be the Taste of the West 2017 Champion Non-Alcoholic Cold Drink with our Rhubarb & Apple. Then in 2020 we were one of the very few 3* winners in the Great Taste Awards with our Lime & Ginger. You can find the current tally below
While it’s very gratifying to win these awards, it’s really important to us to receive the judges’ feedback. We don’t always get it right first time and their comments help to keep us aiming higher year on year, making sure that our customers will continue to enjoy our efforts for years to come.
